Man fighting for life and another injured in double east London stabbing

A hunt has been launched for a knifeman after two people were found stabbed in London this afternoon.

Police were called to the scene in St Paul’s Way, Tower Hamlets, at around 4.30pm following reports of a knife attack.

Officers found two men suffering stab injuries.

The first, a 23-year-old man, has been taken to hospital where his condition is life-threatening.

The second, believed to be aged in his 20s or 30s, sustained less serious injuries.

However, he has also been taken to hospital for treatment.

An investigation has been launched. Officers are working at the scene and cordons are in place.

A Met Police spokesman said: ‘There has been no arrest in relation to the stabbings at this stage.’
