Since marrying Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex has undergone a lot of major changes in her life. Before she joined the Royal Family last May, Meghan was a successful actress and her big break was her appearance on legal drama Suits. She played Rachel Zane in the hit show from 2011 to 2018 and recorded more than 100 episodes in its seven seasons.
The California native also had a lifestyle blog, called the “Tig”, which she sadly closed down – along with her social media accounts – following her engagement to Prince Harry.
In a post entitled “Red Carpet Beauty Essentials”, Meghan shared in 2015 the “beauty tips” she had learnt from her “right hand man, make-up guru” Daniel Martin and that supposedly leave her face “camera ready” at all times.
The former Hollywood star wrote on her website: “After a whirlwind of New York Fashion Week with my right hand man, make-up guru, Daniel Martin, I learned a few more tips to keep my face looking camera ready when off-duty or on the red carpet.
“Rest assured this Sunday his tips will come into play to keep some of Hollywood’s finest faces looking (and staying) flawless as they go from the step and repeat, to the award ceremony, to a long night of celebrating followed by requisite late night feasting at In-N-Out.
“The maquillage has to last – and the same can be said for a special work event or when you find yourself dancing the night away at a friend’s wedding.
“Here are the essentials from a man who is absolutely essential in my life.
The “essentials” mentioned in the post and recommended by Meghan’s makeup artist included Dior Star foundation, Make Up For Ever aqua brow, Nyx Cosmetics high definition blush in taupe, Velour Lashes whispie me away, Dior rouge brume lipstick in lys rouge, Japonesque makeup setting spray.
Mr Martin, who is based in New York, was catapulted into the spotlight after he was revealed as the man behind Meghan’s natural look for her May 2018 wedding to Prince Harry.
Meghan was applauded by royal fans for allowing her freckles to be on show on her big day.
After meeting the Duchess in 2011, the two hit it off and Mr Martin was also invited to Meghan’s exclusive baby shower in New York.
He recently sparked speculation over Meghan and Harry’s baby expected date of arrival when he posted a message on Instagram about his upcoming appearance at an industry event in New York.
He told his 124,000 followers he will be a guest at The MakeupShow in the Big Apple on May 5.
The announcement sparked suggestions Meghan, who is expected to turn to Mr Martin for her post-birth makeup, will have given birth by then.
