After his hot Oscars duet with his “A Star Is Born” co-star Lady Gaga in Hollywood, Bradley Cooper was spotted changing things up — by meeting Jerry Seinfeld for soup at a Midtown diner.
Our spies saw Cooper and the comedian at the Brooklyn Diner, with “each having split-pea soup.” (Seinfeld’s eponymous character on his seminal series did argue, after all, in a 1994 episode called “The Soup,” that soup is a meal: “This is the meal — the soup counts!”)
Spies said they were not filming anything, just bonding.
Meanwhile, Gaga on Wednesday appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and said of any alleged off-screen relationship with Cooper stemming from their on-screen heat at the Oscars: “People saw love, and guess what — that’s what we wanted you to see! This is a love song; the movie is a love story.”
She added, “I’m an artist, and I guess we did a good job. Fooled you!”
She said that the intimate staging of their duet was all masterminded by Cooper: “Everything you saw, the way that they pushed the piano out, you saw them put the piano together, and us walk up onstage, no intro, that was all him . . . It was important to both of us that we were connected the entire time.”
