Al Jazeera takes a look at some of the promises Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has struggled to keep during his time as Egypt’s president.

    Egyptians head to the polls in the coming hours in an election expected to return President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to power.

    The vote comes seven years after the revolution that ended the three-decades-long presidency of Hosni Mubarak.
