Girl, 2, tested for STD after sucking on used condom in McDonald’s

“What if there is an STD there and my daughter is going to get it? We have to wait three months to do a blood test on her”

“I ran into the bathrooms, washed her mouth and hands and came out and gave her a drink. We were terrified,” Wendy told 10 Daily.

The condom was open and appeared to be used with no packaging, Wendy said, guessing her daughter may have found it on a chair.

“I am really angry and sickened… I haven’t slept. I have been feeling overwhelmingly guilty for taking her there in the first place,” she added.

The couple then requested to look at the condom again so they could photograph the evidence before handing it back and leaving the restaurant.

Their doctor told them to return to the McDonald’s and get the condom before getting the STD test at the hospital.

Wendy continued: “When I got there, they refused to give us back the condom.

“I am disgusted how they treated me and my family. We just wanted to test it to see if our daughter is going to be okay.

McDonald’s head office said the hospital was provided with the condom for testing and apologised for the incident.

Stressing the cleanliness as their top priority, a spokesman said: “We are very sorry that the incident occurred, and take situations like this seriously.

“Cleanliness and safety are our top priorities and we ensure the shift manager on duty conducts what we refer to as a travel path every 30 minutes.

“The travel path sees the shift manager walk through and check all areas of the restaurant.”
