Infected Donald Trump censored for claiming Covid is just like flu

Donald Trump has been censored for tweeting that coronavirus is just like flu four days after he was hospitalized after the virus left him struggling to breathe. Twitter flagged the President of the United States missive for ‘spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to Covid-19.’

Users must now click to view the controversial tweet, which was posted on Tuesday morning. Trump wrote: ‘Flu season is coming up! Many people every year, sometimes over 100,000, and despite the Vaccine, die from the Flu.

‘Are we going to close down our Country? No, we have learned to live with it, just like we are learning to live with Covid, in most populations far less lethal!!!’ Shortly after sending the tweet, Trump announced plans to attend the next presidential debate against Joe Biden in Miami on October 15.

He also shared another tweet that said: ‘FEELING GREAT!’ Trump offered his latest take on coronavirus – which has killed 210,000 Americans – half a day after he returned home from a three day stay at the Walter Reed Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

Trump required oxygen treatment for his bout of Covid-19, as well as drugs including steroid dexamethasone, which is only usually given to patients who are seriously-ill with the virus. He had 10 doctors attending to his medical needs, and now has 24/7 specialist medical care available to him at the White House.

The president was filmed apparently gasping for air on the White House balcony shortly after returning home, with the president’s doctor Sean Conley refusing to say when Trump’s last negative test was, raising the specter of him still being infectious.

The president insisted on returning to his address after apparently telling aides he feared his hospital stay had left him looking ‘weak’ just four weeks before the November 3 presidential election.

Trump and First Lady Melania announced they had tested positive for coronavirus last Friday, with a total of 14 White House staffers so-far contracting the disease.
