Trump's lawyer brought out a convicted sex offender as his voter fraud witness

Donald Trump’s lawyer and former mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani, brought out a convicted sex offender to support the president’s claims of voter fraud.

Daryl Brooks spoke at Giulani’s press conference on Saturday in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he claimed to be a Republican poll watcher.

It was reported on Monday by Politico that Brooks went to jail for being accused of exposing himself to two girls, ages 7 and 11.

Brooks denied the charges, but still served three years time in jail after being convicted of sexual assault, lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child.

The sex offender claimed he was a Philadelphia resident, but the mayor of Trenton, New Jersey, Reed Gusciora, said he recognized Brooks as a a former candidate for House and Senate.

‘I started watching it and all of a sudden I was like, “there’s New Jersey’s perennial candidate claiming to live in Philadelphia” and Giuliani claiming him to be a poll watcher and Philadelphia resident,’ Gusciora said.

Trump tweeted that Giuliani’s press conference was being held at a Four Seasons hotel, but it ended up being in front of a Four Seasons landscaping company located next to a sex shop and crematorium.

Brooks was the first witness to speak at the event, saying that the voting was ‘not fair at all.’

‘It’s such a shame,’ he said.

Giuliani also said that he has ‘as many as 90 witnesses’ ready to fight election interference on behalf of Trump.

There is still no evidence that the Democrats interfered with the election, although Trump and his aides continue to push this message out to the public.

Joe Biden was announced to be the winner of the 2020 presidential election on Saturday, but Trump has refused to concede defeat.

It is not clear if he ever will concede, but he will continue to serve as president in the White House until January 2021.
