WASHINGTON (REUTERS) – The United States had administered 482,695,970 doses of Covid-19 vaccines in the country as at Saturday morning (Dec 11) and distributed 594,372,295 doses, the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said.

Those figures are up from the 480,567,772 vaccine doses the CDC said had gone into arms by Dec 10, out of 591,558,685 doses delivered.

The agency said 238,679,707 people had received at least one dose while 201,688,550 people had been fully vaccinated as at 6am ET on Saturday.

The CDC tally includes two-dose vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech, as well as Johnson & Johnson’s one-shot vaccine.

About 52.9 million people have received a booster dose of either Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson’s Covid-19 vaccine.

Booster doses from Moderna and Johnson & Johnson were authorised by the US health regulator on Oct 20.
