SINGAPORE – Data breaches in Singapore affect every aspect of life, from dining out and healthcare to public transport.

In 2016, the personal information of 380,000 riders and drivers of ride-sharing app Uber in Singapore was exposed. This was dwarfed two years later by the SingHealth cyberattack, which saw the personal information of 1.5 million patients stolen – including that of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
