SINGAPORE- Stay-at-home activities last year, driven by the Covid-19 pandemic, have led to an overall increase in sales of computers and peripheral devices globally, including in Singapore, after a decade of sluggish performance.
Worldwide shipments of PCs – desktops, laptops and high-performance workstations – last year saw a 13.1 per cent growth compared with 2019, with shipments growing from 268 million to 303 million, according to technology research company International Data Corporation (IDC).
