Giving older workers a fair deal in re-employment

SINGAPORE – By 2030, bosses have to allow people to keep working until they are 70, under the new legislation that has raised retirement and re-employment ages.

However, firms can cut the worker’s benefits and pay when they re-employ him, even though the employee might be doing more or less the same work.
