KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysian King has set a Wednesday (Aug 18) 4pm deadline for the country’s 220 MPs to submit their choice of the next premier to succeed Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin who resigned on Monday.
On Tuesday, all eyes will be on the palace for a second day running as the King is once again expected to step into the breach in the country’s political deadlock for the second time in 18 months.
