The invisible struggle of girls with ADHD

SINGAPORE – When Ms Nicole Nonis tells someone she has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), she often gets this reaction: “Oh ya, I cannot sit still as well.”

“People downplay ADHD,” says the 21-year-old undergraduate, who is studying social work. “It’s so much more than not being able to sit still and concentrate.”
