Princess Charlotte had a front-row seat as she watched Katy Perry and Lionel Ritchie light up Windsor at the Coronation Concert – but it was the young Royal who really stole the show.

The eight-year-old was singing and dancing, waving her Union Jack flag, and put on an animated display last night.

Charlotte sat alongside her mum, Kate, Princess of Wales, dad, Prince William, and older brother, George, as she enjoyed her grandfather’s huge musical celebration.

The young royals were well-dressed as they attended the star-studded event in Windsor, alongside other Royal Family members, including the King and Queen, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie and Zara Tindall.

The duo appeared to be having a great time within moments of the event kicking off, as they danced along to the songs being played.

But Charlotte looked slightly baffled at the first must music played as DJ Pete Tong kickstarted the celebrations.

The hit-maker DJ started with some Ibiza classics, including 2016 banger Feel The Love, leaving many viewers surprised – including Charlotte.

The youngster gave an amazing reaction to the song choice as mum Princess Kate looked over.

When the young princess spotted her father Prince William appearing on stage at the Coronation Concert in Windsor she gave a sweet look to her brother and pointed at ‘Papa’.

The eight-year-old royal apparently said: ‘Look! There’s [Papa],’ when noticing the Prince of Wales making his way across the platform to give his speech at the music extravaganza this evening, according to one lip reader.

She gestured to Prince William while turning to her brother Prince George to ensure he was watching their father’s big moment.

Taking to Twitter, royals fans shared their delight over the adorable sibling interaction, with one person writing: ‘Aww, Charlotte is so excited to see her daddy on stage! She’s like ‘look George!’. George is like ‘whatevs’.’

She also looked like she was having a great time as her and George, 9, were spotted clapping along to acts and waving Union Jack flags.

They lit up when Miss Piggy and Kermit made a surprise appearance saying they were looking for their seats in the royal box.

Towards the end of the show, Kermit even seemed to find his way to the box – but sadly not to meet the kids.

The Wales kids joined the rest of the crowd in standing up and dancing along — and waving their flags — to Lionel Richie perform ‘All Night Long.’ The singer also sang ‘Easy (Like Sunday Morning).’

But the highlight of the night for Charlotte was when Katy Perry took to stage and performed ‘Roar’ as she could be seen singing and dancing along.

An amazing drone performance lit up the sky with different animals throughout the night, and when the Grammy-winning sang her hit a huge Lion head appeared above the stage.

Many fans took note of the sweet moment, tweeting about Charlotte singing along. ‘Loving princess Charlotte singing her lungs out with Katy Perry,’ one wrote. Another said, ‘princess charlotte is so real for singing along with katy perry love her for that.’ Yet another tweeter joked, ‘princess charlotte katy perry fan omg cultured.’

Royal reporter Richard Eden even tweeted, ‘I suspect Princess Charlotte might have asked grandpa to book @katyperry for the #CoronationConcert She seems to know all the words.’
