The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has refused an appeal by Archie’s parents to intervene in the decision to remove his life support. The family had submitted the application in the hope the body would rule to postpone the withdrawal of the boy’s treatment, which he relied on since April 7, when his mother found him unconscious at their home in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
