A viral clip of Prince Archie playing with his grandmother Doria Ragland in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s hit Netflix series has taken social media by storm. The Sussexes’ oldest son is still a baby in the home movie, which shows him sitting in a ride-on toy car pushed by Meghan’s mother.
In another segment, he can be seen grabbing onto Meghan’s legs while walking around the kitchen. The duchess can be heard saying “are we walking?” in the clip.
The material was included in episode six of Prince Harry and Meghan’s Netflix docuseries “Harry & Meghan”, which dropped on the streaming platform on December 2022.
Since airing, a clip of the video was later posted to TikTok, where it became an instant hit.
It has been watched nearly 900,000 times and has garnered up to 14,000 likes.

The video was captioned: “Seeing Prince Archie learn how to walk in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s home videos was so special.”
It also included the message: “Omg Grandma Doria there tooooo.”
The family was staying at the American actor Tyler Perry’s mansion in Beverley Hills at the time, which was after the Sussexes stepped down from their Royal duties and first relocated from Canada before moving to California a few months later.
They stayed in Perry’s Los Angeles home from April to July 2020, spending their first months here before buying their current property in Montecito.
It was during these months that the family home video footage was captured.
Harry said on the Netlifx show: “We were there for six weeks and no one knew.”
He told Perry that “for the first six weeks we were here, we were able to walk around like this and the two of us would be up here [in the grounds outside the house], Archie would be walking along here, the dogs running around”.
Archie is now three years old and will be celebrating his fourth birthday on the weekend of King Charles’s Coronation.

While his parents have tried to keep him and his sister Lilibet out of the spotlight as much as they can, a series of baby photos and home videos can be seen on the Netflix show.
Prince Harry said in the docuseries: “As a dad, and as parents, I think consent is a really key piece to this.
“That if you have children, it should be your consent as to what you share.”
