There have been unconfirmed reports of a stabbing outside Barclays on Stamford Hill amid an attempt to steal cash with pepper spray.

Witness Shloime Royde took to Twitter to share a picture of a small crowd gathered outside the bank.

He said: “Reports of a stabbing outside Barclays Bank on Stamford Hill, London N16. Emergency services on scene.

“Apparently came into bank and sprayed pepper spray to steal cash box. Ran out to Asda on Clapton Common.”
