At least three people have been killed and several others seriously injured in a train crash in southern Germany.
The regional service derailed north of the Garmisch-Partenkirchen ski resort in Bavaria, leaving a number of carriages lying on their sides, according to Bild.
Police said the train had been quite full at the time of the crash, with many school students said to be on board.
A major emergency services operation is still under way, police said, and the rail line is currently completely closed. It is unclear what caused the crash.
