Two dead bodies of a man and woman were found in a village home with police launching an investigation into the two “unexplained deaths”. Officers discovered the pair in a property in Kirk Ella, on the outskirts of Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire.
On Monday at around 11.26 am, the officers were called to the property following reports of a concern for safety.
Police made the gruesome discovery of the two dead people when they arrived, trigging the investigation.
Humberside Police said their deaths are currently being treated as unexplained.
No one has been identified yet.
Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to assist the police and used a lock breaker to gain access to the home.
Fire service crews used breathing apparatus and hazmat suits to see if any hazardous materials were present, reports Hull Daily Mail.
Gas detection checks were also carried out, which were negative and there was natural ventilation in the property.
