Boris Johnson has handed his legal questionnaire to the Metropolitan Police following claims of lockdown-busting parties in Downing Street.
The force has been investigating 12 separate events, separately to a Cabinet Office probe carried out by senior civil servant Sue Gray.
Number 10 confirmed the Prime Minister has complied with the Met’s request for his answers to be submitted within a week of receiving their form last Friday.
Downing Street has previously said the PM’s responses will not be made available to the public.
Formal questionnaires were sent by police to more than 50 people believed to have been involved in the 12 events investigated under Operation Hillman.
Allegations of rule-breaking caused a great deal of public anger, as Coivd restrictions kept people isolated and unable to see loved ones.
