Boris Johnson finished off his final Prime Minister’s Questions with a tribute to the Terminator.

Reflecting on his three years as PM, he told MPs: ‘We’ve helped, I’ve helped, get this country through a pandemic and help save another country from barbarism.

‘And frankly, that’s enough to be going on. Mission – largely accomplished. For now.’

He then said ‘Hasta la vista baby’ to the sound of chuckling and cheering from Tory MPs.

The outgoing PM received a standing ovation from his side of the chamber, but not everyone was so keen on his farewell speech.

Notably, his predecessor Theresa May, who was slow to get to her feet and didn’t clap.
