A boy has been arrested on suspicion of raping a teenage girl in woodland.
The 14-year-old suspect has not been identified and is currently in custody.
He was detained by police officers in Warwick after the alleged incident at around 9.30pm near Ophelia Drive.
Cops said they had been called to the scene following reports that a teenage girl had been attacked.
Detectives have urged anyone with any information to contact them as soon as possible.
A police spokesperson said: ‘Anyone with information can call 101 quoting incident 427 of July 23, 2022.
‘Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or visit http://www.crimestoppers-uk.org.’
