Child in critical condition after being rushed to hospital

A child was been airlifted to hospital in Shropshire after emergency services found him in critical condition at an AIREA51 jump park. The youngster was rushed to Royal Stoke University Hospital after paramedics administered advanced life support to him in the Stafford Park, Telford, trampoline park on Sunday. The jump park remained closed all day today, but is set to reopen tomorrow.

Amy Stubbs, spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said the incident occurred just after 3pm, as emergency services to rush to the scene in Stafford Park 12.

She said: “We were called to a medical emergency at Stafford Park 12 in Stafford Park, Telford just before 3pm yesterday (Sunday).

“An ambulance, paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews found a child in a critical condition.

“Ambulance staff administered advanced life support which continued en route to Royal Stoke Hospital where he was airlifted to for further treatment.”

AIREA51 posted on Facebook saying: “Unfortunately we will be closed all day Monday April 17 but will be reopen Tuesday 18.” has reached out to AIREA51 for comment.
