A young boy suffered two broken collarbones when he was hit from behind by an e-scooter.
The three-year-old was walking on a pavement with his grandmother when he was struck on April 17.
The rider fell off the scooter but got back on and rode off without stopping to check on the boy.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Feltham High Street, west London, at 6pm.
The boy was taken to hospital to be treated for the broken bones but has since been discharged.
Detectives are now trying to locate the e-scooter rider.
