The new level of the game, titled Royal Runaways, was added to the app and featured a couple called Prince Aston and Princess Bianca. Much like Harry and Meghan, this couple quit royal life after giving a televised interview where Bianca claimed she was “unwelcome” in the royal family.

The character says: “Prince Aston has done everything in his power to welcome me into the royal family.

“Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about everyone in his family.

“The Queen is a symbol of tradition, but as times change, perhaps some traditions become outdated.”

Following a conversation with the monarch, the royal couple decided to leave their royal life.

However, the new chapter of the game has since been removed after Kim Kardashian said she is “disappointed” and has “requested an internal investigation” to avoid it happening again.

Following complaints and negative feedback, game makers Glu Mobile confirmed the level had been removed.

A spokesperson told the MailOnline: “We heard a lot of valuable feedback around our recent Prince Aston and Princess Bianca quest.

“It’s clear we missed the mark with this, and we sincerely apologise.

“We did not intend to direct any negativity towards any particular person or groups of people.

“The content is no longer live in the game.”

The new feature of the game sparks a remarkable similarity with Harry and Meghan’s departure from the Royal Family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shocked the world last year when they announced they would be stepping down as senior members of the Firm in a move dubbed Megxit.

The couple subsequently moved to California in a bid for a more private life and to be financially independent from the Royal Family.

Since stepping away, Harry and Meghan have landed multi-million dollar deals with Netflix and Spotify.

Back in March, the couple made several bombshell claims during their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Meghan claimed there were conversations about the colour of Archie’s skin before he was born.

Since the Oprah interview, Harry has continued his attack on the Firm and his family after appearing on the Armchair Expert podcast.

The Duke of Sussex also opened up about his mental health in a new Apple TV documentary series.

In the documentary, Harry claimed his suffering comes back to the “same people, the same business model and the same industry”.

Harry said: “It all comes back to the same people, the same business model, the same industry.

“My father used to say when I was younger, he used to say to William and I, ‘well it was like that for me so it’s going to be like that for you’. That doesn’t make sense.

“Just because you suffered it doesn’t mean your kids have to suffer.

“In fact, it’s the opposite. If you suffered, do everything you can to make sure any negative experiences you had mean you can make it right for your kids.”
