Police have launched an urgent appeal for information as they search for a man after a 12-year-old girl was sexually assaulted at a shopping centre in Sutton, South London. The Metropolitan Police shared an image of a man in connection with the alleged attack of the youngster and are urging anyone with information to come forward. The incident happened on February 25 at around 4.15 pm when the girl was approached by an unknown man who then groped her repeatedly.
She is now receiving support from specialist officers.
The suspect is described as being in his late 20s to early 30s, of average build, with a brown beard and moustache.
He was wearing a black coat, grey tracksuit trousers and a flat cap at the time of the incident.
