Former Prime Minister was overjoyed as he laughed at a fond memory he had of the now passed Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip. While speaking on Good Morning Britain, Mr Brown explained that he was voted as Edinburgh’s rector after graduating from university at age 20. He noted that the university was unhappy about a student being made a rector and attempted to change the rules.
Mr Brown continued to laugh as he explained that the Duke of Edinburgh stepped in to prevent the university from getting rid of him.
