Harry ‘ended any kind of relationship’ with William, claims author

GB News: Nile calls Prince Harry a ‘spoilt brat’ in heated debate

Prince Harry “ended” his relationship with his brother Prince William when he released Spare, a royal author has claimed. The book savaged William and even alleged that the Prince of Wales threw Harry to the floor during an altercation.

Author of The War of the Windsors Alexander Larman weighed in on the rift between Prince Harry and the rest of the Royal Family. He claimed that after Spare there was no going back.

Speaking on specifically on Prince William and Harry, Mr Larman said: “In Britain it’s speculated about so much, the idea of will they be together or will they talk to each other? I think it’s fair to say no.”

Prince Harry’s relationship with his brother was thought to be strained before the release of Spare but the memoir’s “attack” on Prince Harry’s family was the last straw, according to Mr Larman.

“After Harry published Spare, he knew exactly what he was doing – if he didn’t know what he was doing he’s even more stupid than we thought he was – anyone who isn’t completely imbecilic would know that to publish a book like Spare with that level of attack on your family is essentially ending any kind of relationship you’re ever going to have,” Mr Larman told US Weekly.

The author claimed it was unlikely that Harry would ever return to Britain after now that he had his “new life” in the US, although he said he would be “amazed” if the Duke didn’t attend the Coronation.

“It seems clear to me that Harry has no interest whatsoever in reconciling with his family. He’s got a new life now and it’s a completely different life. He can’t go back to it, there’s no possibility he’s going to come back to Britain and lead a normal life here,” Mr Larman said.

When Spare was released on January 6 it sent shockwaves around the world. The memoir contains several bombshell accusations against the Royal Family and was particularly critical of Prince William.

The allegation that has probably received the most attention is Harry’s claim William attacked the Duke over a disagreement about Meghan Markle.

“It all happened so fast. So very fast,” Harry wrote in Spare. “He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”

Although Spare savaged the Royal Family, Prince Harry has still said that his ultimate goal is to reconcile with his father and brother.

During an ITV interview ahead of the book’s release, he told Tom Bradby: “I would like to get my father back. I would like to have my brother back.”
