Prince William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, are “highly unlikely” to have watched the sit-down interviews made by Prince Harry in recent days, a commentator said. The Duke of Sussex spoke with ITV’s Tom Bradby, CBS’ Anderson Cooper and ABC’s Michael Strahan to promote his now-released book Spare. These chats included mentions of other members of the Firm – including the claim Queen Camilla was “dangerous” in the early 2000s for what Harry said was a desire to rehabilitate her image. Asked by Talk TV’s First Edition host Tom Newton Dunn whether he expects senior royals to get in touch with Prince Harry following his interviews, royal editor Matt Wilkinson said he doesn’t think it likely King Charles, Queen Camilla or the Waleses turned on the TV to listen to what the fifth-in-line had to say. Mr Wilkinson said: “You never know, but I do find it highly unlikely… I happen to find unlikely they have actually watched this, I find highly unlikely they are going to read the book as well, they may be briefed by their staff or briefed about what has happened in the book and the interviews but I find it highly unlikely there are being text messages and WhatsApp memes being shared between Norfolk [where he said Kate and William spent the weekend] and California.”

Prince Harry spotted leaving The Late Show after downing tequila with Stephen Colbert
Prince Harry was pictured leaving studios in New York where he sat down to record an interview with The Late Show host Stephen Colbert on Monday evening.
The Duke appeared relaxed as he smiled at the crowds outside the studios and waved at some of them.
During the interview, which will broadcast in the US tonight, Duke of Sussex answered a series of questions asked during the Colbert Questionert segment.
Some of the questions his guests are asked include what their favourite sandwich is, what app they most use on their phone and what number Colbert might be thinking at that point in time.
This was the latest interview given by the royal to promote the release of his memoir Spare, released worldwide today.
