Manchester has seen a huge drop in infection rate among 17 to 21-year-olds over the past two weeks, new data shows.
There are now 568 cases of the virus per 100,000 people, compared with 3,350 per 100,000 people on October 3, Manchester City Council director of public health David Regan said.
It comes just as Greater Manchester is set to enter tier three this week at 00.01 on Friday.
