Prince Harry and Meghan are set to return to the UK next month, but are reporting treating the “very short” visit as a “working trip”, rather than one for “reconnecting with family”. Speaking on a recent video on his YouTube channel, royal expert Neil Sean discussed the couple’s upcoming trip and claimed that the “real reason” Lilibet and Archie will not be joining the trip is because the couple want to solely focus their time on their charity ventures.
Mr Sean said: “According to a very good source, the real reason, this is their words not mine, why the children will not be coming over here, to the United Kingdom and we have to say at this stage, is that this is a working trip.
“It’s not a trip for, you know, just meeting family, and collecting and hooking up and all that sort of stuff.”
He added because Lilibet and Archie will not be on trip, it means the Queen will “not be reconnecting, in any form” with her two great-grandchildren.
Mr Sean added: “Obviously, they are going to miss them, it’s quite a short visit.
“I don’t necessarily think they will be here in the country that long.”
The royal expert added that photos of the family-of-four might “do the world of PR good” and could “sway the public’s opinion of them”.
Prince Harry and Meghan are set to fly to the UK for September 5.
On this date, the couple are scheduled to visit the One Young World Summit in Manchester.
