Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, “looked super similar” to Princess Diana during her latest public royal engagement, according to commentators. The future queen consort had joined her husband Prince William on an official visit to Scotland this week. Access narrator Charlie Lankston noted the Duchess paid homage to her late mother-in-law.
She told viewers: “Kate is channeling Princess Diana’s fashion.
“The royal and Prince William visited Turning Point Scotland Centre, located east of Edinburgh.
“The Duchess of Cambridge looked stunning in a cobalt blue look with a blazer from Zara and a Hope midi skirt.
“The outfit looks super similar to an iconic look her late mother-in-law Princess Diana rocked back in 1992 while visiting South Korea.”
Ms Lankston continued: “Both outfits feature pleated midi skirts paired with blazers that feature large gold buttons on the front.
“Diana chose to accessorise with a poppy pin and blue pumps.
“Whereas Kate chose to rock tan heels and a matching clutch.
“As well as a blue printed face mask due to the coronavirus pandemic.”
