During the Royally Obsessed podcast, Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie praise the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for stepping up and owning their roles in the Royal Family. Ms Bowie stated that Kate felt more queenly and compared a recent outfit the Duchess wore to Queen Elizabeth II’s wardrobe.

Ms Bowie said: “Kate looked stunning in a red, Alexander McQueen coat and a new handbag by Grace Han.

“I thought it was very Queen Elizabeth II, with the little top handle black bag.

Ms Fiorito replied: “Yes, I thought so too, even her pumps with that coat looked very Queen Elizabeth II to me.”

Ms Bowie continued: “We said last week that Prince William has felt more kingly recently.

“I do also think that Kate Middleton feels more Queenly a lot.”

Ms Fiorito added: “I do too, they are rising up to these roles,

“They are stepping up into their roles.”

Last week the royal experts praised Prince William’s kinglike endeavour in raising awareness regarding the impact of climate change.

Ms Fiorito revealed she could see the Duke of Cambridge on the throne following the impact of ‘A Planet For All of Us’ documentary.

She said: “William has been dipping his toe in the water in terms of documentaries, we had the football one on mental health earlier in the summer.

“Basically, the subject of the documentary is William making the case for leaving his children and all of our children a green, clean, sustainable earth.”

The royal commentator added: “I was left feeling incredibly proud of Prince William, it is such a gigantic effort that he is taking on.

“His strategy and tactics for solving this are not vague and I think that is really helpful and productive because some people get overwhelmed by the subject of clime change.”

Ms Bowie replied: “Also, you pointed out that he was very King-like.”

Ms Fiorito said: “Yes, that was how I felt, the energy of all the touchpoints of this initiative in this big launch, I felt like ‘ok I am really listening.’

“I really believe that I can see you on the throne and feel your impact already.”
