Kate, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William share children Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five, and Prince Louis, two, together. The youngest Cambridge child was born on April 23, 2018 and has so far spent most of his time at home with his parents. However, early next year Louis will undergo a huge change.

In early 2021, Prince Louis is expected to start nursery.

Louis will be at a similar age to what his siblings were when they made the huge step.

In January, Louis will be two years and eight months old.

When his older brother Prince George started nursery, he was two and a half.

He attended the Westacre Montessori School in Norfolk, when the Cambridges were still living there.

Princess Charlotte was also aged approximately two and a half when she started nursery.

She started attending the Willcocks Nursery School in January 2018.

Prince Louis is expected to be enrolled into the same nursery as his sister as the family now lives in London.

It’s likely the young Prince will sear on either Wednesday, January 6 or Thursday, January 7, as that’s when the spring term begins.

The nursery is just a stone’s throw away from Kate and William’s main residence at Kensington Palace.

The Willcocks Nursery is a traditional school which strives to maintain its ethos for “high standards, excellence and good manners”, according to its website.

It was founded in 1964 by Miss Diana Willcocks and has been based at its current location in the church hall of Holy Trinity Church, Prince Consort Road, London since 1984.

The nursery has received high praise from Ofsted, and in its report for 2020, it wrote: “Children are making excellent progress.

“This is due to the staff’s meticulous planning skills in ensuring children’s individual learning needs are met.

“The organisation of the time that children attend is exceptional.

“As a result, no time is wasted and children enjoy a productive learning experience.”

Louis’ older siblings have now started school and both attend the Thomas’s Battersea school in south-west London.

George is currently in Year 3, while Princess Charlotte is in Year 1.

Prince William and Kate spent lockdown homeschooling their children like many other parents around the UK.

Prince Louis is expected to start the same school in 2022.
