James Bond’s latest film premiere not only attracted royalty from the world of film and stage, but also several members of the British Royal Family, as Prince William and Kate,the Duchess of Cambridge arrived at the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate the film’s release. Panellists on Jeremy Vine praised the Duchess of Cambridge for her “spectacular” outfit, which overshadowed the glamorous appearances of several Hollywood A-listers.
Speaking on the Jeremy Vine show, Storm Huntley praised Kate for looking “spectacular” whilst Vine himself complimented the Duchess on her “Bond-style outfit”.
Guest panellist Carole Malone agreed: “She never lets down does she, Kate? I mean she looks better than any of the celebs actually.”
For her red carpet appearance, Kate wore a gold-sequined cape gown by Jenny Packham, paired with gold earrings from Onitaa.
Prince William meanwhile, wore a suave velvet jacket with satin lapels and black cashmere slippers by Arthur Sleep.
In a jokey exchange, Jeremy Vine said: “I mentioned Kate, I didn’t even mention William walking beside her.”
With Kate’s glamorous get-up, Carole Malone quipped “you don’t see him basically”, with Storm Huntley noting, “he wasn’t quite as sparkly”.
As well as impressing royal fans, the Duchess of Cambridge made an impression on leading actor Daniel Craig, who told her “You look jolly lovely”.
The Cambridges were joined on the red carpet by Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, in a rare joint outing for the royal foursome.

Camilla joined Kate with a glamorous dress, opting for a pastel blue and silver sequin dress by Bruce Oldfield, accompanied by the Princess Marie Louise’s Diamond Sunburst brooch.
Members of the Royal Family have traditionally attended James Bond premieres, with Prince William, Kate, and Prince Harry making an appearance for the 2015 film, Spectre.
For the 2012 premiere of the critically-acclaimed Skyfall, Prince Charles and Camilla attended the star-studded event.
No Time To Die, the latest installment in the Bond franchise, marks the 25th film and actor Daniel Craig’s final appearance as the infamous 007 agent.

Other famous faces to appear on the red carpet included the film’s stars, Rami Malek, Lea Seydoux and Lashana Lynch, as well as rapper Stormzy and US Open Champion Emma Raducanu.
The royal foursome were introduced to director Cary Joji Fukunaga, screenwriters Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Robert Wade, as well as singer Billie Eilish who performed the film’s theme tune.
The highly-anticipated Bond film was due to be released in April 2020 but was delayed several times due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
It follows the 007 agent returning from retirement to help rescue a kidnapped scientist, and has so far been met with critical acclaim.
