A social media user took to Twitter to recount her incredible encounter with Kate and one of her sons, who she identified as Prince George. The Twitter user, Mayleen Ramey, recalled experiencing “the most random and epic celeb-spotting” yesterday morning near Hyde Park.

She claimed: “It started as a grumpy day. I was stressed and sleep-deprived, grumbling to myself as a dragged my sleepy bum to dance class in Hyde Park…

“As I was approaching the Queen’s Gate entrance, I see a young boy on a bike racing towards me on the sidewalk, while gleefully saying ‘I can’t go slower!’ as his mum chases inches behind.

“As I do when I see all kids, I break into a grin and say a big ‘hiiii!’ as he zooms by.

“It takes me about half a second to realise this adorable boy and his mum are faces I’ve seen thousands of times.

“I then notice a breathless, masked man in a suit running after the two, clearly having been outpaced.

“I stop for a second to register this random, magical, royal moment… as I’ve just had an almost literal run-in with HRH Duchess Kate Middleton and Prince George! On a sidewalk! In the middle of London!!”

Joking the Twitter user added she “gasped in horror” after realising she surely broke royal protocol by casually yelling “hiii” to the future king.

This random encounter was hugely appreciated by royal fans on the social media platform, who thanked Ms Ramey for sharing her story.

However, a few royal watchers believe the Twitter user did not meet Prince George.

Rather, they said, she may have confused the seven-year-old with his brother, Prince Louis.

One commented her Twitter thread saying: “I’ll bet it was Louis and not George. He would have been in school.”

Another replied saying: “Also I get the impression Prince Louis is a bit kamikaze like my little boy was at that age.

“I bet he zooms around on that balance bike at a million miles an hour.”

Prince George and his sister Princess Charlotte attend Thomas’s Battersea school.

On the other hand, Prince Louis started earlier this year Willcocks Nursery School, located near Kensington Palace.

Kate took a picture of the three-year-old on his first day of school in April.

Prince Louis had a huge smile on his face as he carried a backpack and was on a red balance bike.

The same nursery was also attended by Princess Charlotte who, much like his younger brother, was photographed by Kate shortly before heading to school.

While Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte hasn’t been seen recently in public, seven-year-old Prince George made a surprise appearance at Wembley Stadium earlier this week.

The third in line to the throne watched England triumphing over Germany at the EURO 2020.

And he melted the hearts of many royal fans as he wore a jacket and tie matching his father’s.

This isn’t the first time Prince George goes to the stadium with his parents.

In October 2019, the Cambridges were spotted among the crowd watching the Norwich City v Aston Villa football match.

At the time, George left royal fans in stitches as he was spotted jumping with happiness at every goal scored by the team supported by his father, Villa.
