Knifemen storm shopping centre and injure at least 13 in stabbing rampage

At least 13 people have been injured during a knife rampage in a shopping centre in South Korea, it has been reported.

AK Plaza near Seohyeon Station in Bundang, Gyeonggi, has been cordoned after the incident.

Pictures shared on social media that Metro.co.uk has chosen not to publish show a young woman laying in a puddle of blood in the middle of the mall.

Two men can be seen helping her as she holds her abdomen where she appears to have been wounded.

Some 20 members of emergency services can be seen standing outside AK Plaza where the attack unfolded just before 6pm local time.

The exact condition of those injured is yet unclear, but there are fears the number will grow.

Local media reported two suspects entered the building with a knife and started attacking shoppers at random

One suspect is believed to have been captured by police while the second is still at large.
