Lady Louise Windsor, 17, lives with her parents Sophie, Countess of Wessex, 56, and Prince Edward, 57, at Bagshot Park in Surrey. She is the Queen’s youngest granddaughter and currently studying for her AS-Levels. Louise’s choice of A-Level subjects reveals she shares a key interest with her father.
Last September it was revealed that Louise is taking AS-Levels in English, History, Politics and Drama.
Louise’s father, Edward, is well-known for his love of theatre.
He also studied History at Cambridge University, so it seems Louise is taking after her father.
Edward’s keen interest in the arts allowed him to drop out of the Royal Marines after university, and go on to work as a theatre production assistant at the Really Useful Theatre Company.
He later went on to form his own television production company, Ardent Productions.
While Edward stepped down from the company in 2002 in order to become a full-time working royal, he still supports the arts through dozens of royal patronages.
Unlike their more senior royal cousins, Louise and her brother James, Viscount Severn, 13, have been raised outside of the spotlight.
Sophie previously revealed that she and Edward are bringing their children up with the expectation they will have to work for a living.
Nonetheless, Sophie and Edward’s promotion up the royal hierarchy in the wake of Megxit has prompted speculation Louise could take on a more official royal role in future.
The royal teenager shone in the wake of her grandfather Prince Philip’s death in April when she joined her parents for several outings.
She impressed royal fans with her natural poise and the confidence with which she conducted herself in the public eye.

Louise is said to be the Queen’s favourite granddaughter and they share a passion for horses.
Louise was taught to carriage drive by the late Duke of Edinburgh and is said to have inherited his ponies and trap.
Sophie and Edward’s daughter is due to get her AS-Level results on August 10, but they are unlikely to be made public.
Last August her GCSEs were kept private by the Palace and is the same is likely to happen with her A-Levels.
The Countess has previously expressed her wish for Louise to go to university.
She told the Sunday Times Magazine: “She’s working hard and will do A-levels.
“I hope she goes to university.
“I wouldn’t force her, but if she wants to. She’s quite clever.”
