M25 traffic horror: Lane closure sparks seven-mile delays after three-car pile-up

The incident took place just after 7am at Junction 11 anticlockwise for the A320 St Peters Way (Chertsey).

All lanes have now reopened but there are still delays.

There are seven miles of traffic on the anticlockwise carriageway.

Inrix, an online traffic update service, said: “Long delays and queueing traffic for six miles due to earlier accident, two cars and a van involved on M25 anticlockwise at J11 A320 St Peters Way (Chertsey).

“Congestion to J13 A30 (Staines). Travel time is 35 minutes. All lanes have been re-opened.”
