Protesters have taken to the M25 once again this week, as efforts to disrupt the vital traffic artery continue following arrests. Demonstrations have caused renewed disruption around some of the most busy sections of the motorway this morning. They have defied a court injunction obtained by the Government via Highways England.

Protesters have set up camp on the M25 again this morning.

At present, they are only in the one area, at J14 at Heathrow Airport.

Videos show activists seated in the morning drizzle in front of a queue of cars on the junction, with police intervening to clear the barrier.

Traffic has backed up across several areas this morning, however, not just at the behest of Insulate Britain.
