Madonna tried to use Princess Diana’s childhood home for wedding to Guy Ritchie

Althorp House, the childhood residence of Charles Spencer and his late sister Princess Diana, caught the attention of Madonna as a possible wedding venue back in the early 2000s.

Charles has since recalled a “surreal” exchange with the chart-topping singer.

Nestled in West Northamptonshire, England, the Althorp estate encompasses 550 acres of land and boasts a jaw-dropping 90 rooms, each furnished with exquisite interiors, catching the eye of Madonna for a potential wedding venue.

During the early 2000s, when the Material Girl singer, now 64, joined in matrimony with film director Guy Ritchie, 54, reports surfaced that the singer had been in contact with Spencer regarding the possibility of using the historic estate for the couple’s wedding.
