Meghan Markle has recorded a new interview with talk show presenter Ellen Degeneres, due to air on Thursday. The Duchess of Sussex has however been warned her new bare-all chat may fail to attract as many viewers as her first bombshell interview about leaving the Royal Family with Oprah Winfrey. Good Morning Britain guest Sonia Sodha said many others like her are “just not that interested” in listening to what the Duchess has to say anymore.

A clip of the interview with Ellen was released before the broadcast of the programme, showing the Duchess of Sussex discussing the struggles she faced in her early career as an actress.

The GMB panellist said: “I think it was a deliberately chosen clip from the interview, shall we say.

“It comes across as very Duchess of Sussex, woman of the people.

“She’s probably trying to remind people she didn’t come from royalty.”

The chef added: “I have to say, I’m kind of…can we have our camp, which is just that not bothered anymore camp?

“Let everyone get on with their lives.

“I did watch the Oprah interview because I was really, really interested in what the couple had to say, their first big outing.

“I think most people in the country watched that. I’m just not that interested anymore.”
