Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams insisted it is too early to speculate on what kind of future Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s children, Archie and Lilibet, will have. During an interview with Express.co.uk, Mr Fitzwilliams noted that their cousins’ lives are a little more predictable. He highlighted that Prince William and Kate’s children are expected to become senior royals and partake in royal engagements.

This certainty does not extend to Meghan and Harry’s children, however.

Mr Fitzwilliams said:” As far as Charlotte, George and Louis are concerned, they will one day become senior members of the Royal Family and carry out royal engagements.

“Various other cousins of Archie and Lilibet won’t have or are unlikely to be carrying out royal engagements as some will.

“The Cambridges children will, it is though the Wessexes children won’t.”

The Royal expert noted that the future of Archie and Lilibet is unsure and difficult to predict.

“So far as the United States and Archie and Lilibet, it is terribly early to predict what is going to happen.

“It is also early to predict what sort of future Harry and Meghan would want for them.

“We understand that they want them to grow up as normal as possible.

“Archie does have the title of Earl of Dumbarton if he wanted to use it but now we have had reports that they didn’t like the word ‘dumb’ in Dumbarton.

“I have no idea whether that is true or not, I haven’t the faintest idea.

“But ultimately it is just too early, they are both so young to make any predictions about what Archie and Lilibet’s future will be.”

Mr Fitzwilliams also highlighted that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s future is equally uncertain.

He said: “It will be a matter of seeing the causes Meghan and Harry aspire to, we know the ones they are most keen on.

“Things like diversity, gender equality, the environment, mental health and how this develops.

“There is no doubt they are going to do more charitable work but precisely in what way.

“It is absolutely impossible to predict because anything could happen.
