An unnamed pal of the Duchess of Sussex moaned about her use of emojis in a voice note. But the friend reportedly sent the recording to Meghan by accident – leading to a fallout.
A source told the Daily Mail: “One of Meghan’s British friends fell out with her because Meghan was writing all these messages with loads of emojis.
“The friend dictated a WhatsApp voice note saying, ‘God, Meghan is so annoying with all her emojis, she keeps sending me all these emojis’.
“But then the friend sent the voice memo to Meghan herself by accident instead of sending it to a mutual friend.”
The friend is said to be mortified over the incident and has since drifted apart from Meghan, according to the newspaper.
Meghan and Prince Harry are living in America after quitting royal duties in March 2020.
The Sussexes plunged the Royal Family into crisis earlier this year with their bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview.
The couple made a series of explosive claims about the royals.
But the Royal Family made clear they did not agree with all of Meghan and Harry’s version of events, insisting in a statement that “some recollections may vary”.
US presenter Gayle King claimed Harry had spoken to Prince Charles and Prince William in the wake of the controversial TV interview.
But she said the talks were “not productive”.
She told CBS This Morning: “I’m not trying to break news, but I did actually call them to see how they were feeling and it’s true Harry has talked to his brother and he has talked to his father too.

“The word I was given was that those conversations were not productive but they are glad that they have at least started a conversation.
“And I think what is still upsetting to them is that the palace keeps saying they want to work it out privately, but yet they believe these false stories are coming out that are very disparaging against Meghan still – no one in the Royal Family has talked to Meghan yet.”
The Sussexes, who are expecting their second child, are living in an £11 million mansion in California with their young son Archie.
Since quitting as working royals, they have struck lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify to make shows and podcasts.
Harry has also landed two jobs – one as chief impact officer at American professional coaching and mental health firm BetterUp and a second at a US think tank looking into misinformation and disinformation in the media.
