Harry Magee was rushed to hospital after an air ambulance was called to the accident on Tuesday afternoon in Craigavon, County Armagh, but medics were unable to save him.
Now, in a social media post, his mum Leanne has shared her heartbreak.
The emotional tribute was posted on her ‘Bookandpamper’ Facebook page alongside a picture of her with her son, Belfast Live reports.
It said: “My little boy Harry sadly passed away today in a car accident, we as a family are completely heartbroken and I will reply to emails and messages as soon as I can.”
It added that “we as a family need to grieve over our beautiful little boy, who had so much love and passion for life. I honestly can not believe this is happening”.
