Police have been joined by forensic teams at Arthur Street in Small Heath, to the south-east of the West Midlands city.

A blue and white cordon is blocking entry to the street.

The incident took place on Tuesday night, reports BirminghamLive.

Police vehicles are on the scene at the junction of Bolton Road.

The nature of the incident is not yet known, but indications spotted by reporters at the scene suggest there may have been a collision of some nature.

BirminghamLive reporter Josh Sandford, on the scene, said: “The road has been partitioned into several different sections with police tape and it appears there has been a collision involving multiple vehicles towards the end of the cordon at the primary school.

“The nature of the incident is still unclear.”
