The Prince of Wales helped lead the procession alongside his brothers and sister, as well as his two sons William and Harry, and nephew Peter Phillips, after the death of his father. The heir to the throne will be unable to sit near the Queen at the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The funeral is following strict Covid guidelines – including social distancing rules.

Prince Charles was spotted leaving Windsor Castle on Thursday looking teary-eyed after the death of his father Prince Philip.

After Prince Philip’s death, the Prince of Wales paid tribute to his “dear papa”.

Prince Charles said his father was a “much loved and appreciated figure”.
