The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly going to place special “focus” on re-establishing their image in the United States and areas of Europe, as their popularity rises. Despite public opinion on the couple fluctuating in the United Kingdom, Prince Harry and Meghan are keen to reappear on the “world stage” and promote their non-profit organisation, Archewell.

Royal commentator Neil Sean claimed: “There’s the other side, the PR spin that tells me, particularly directly, that Harry and Meghan are now more popular than ever, particularly in the United States and certain parts across Europe.

“That’s the area that they’re going to focus on when they relaunch themselves within the next few weeks.

“Apparently they’re going to be incredibly active in making sure that people know they’re back on the world stage, and of course, promoting all their good values which they claim to have.

“Over here in the United Kingdom, we can tell you Harry and Meghan remain very, very unpopular.”

According to recent YouGov polls, Prince Harry and Meghan are placed as the 13th and 14th most popular royals, with an approval rating of only 32% in the UK.

The couple announced in January 2020 that they would be stepping down from their roles as senior working royals, and would be relocating to North America.

Since then, they have bought an £11million mansion in the celebrity hotspot Montecito, in Santa Barbara, California.

Boasting nine bedrooms and 16 bathrooms, the couple’s family home is situated next door to influential figures such as Oprah Winfrey, Orlando Bloom, and Ellen Degeneres.

Meghan and Harry: Expert on ‘dramatic’ drop in US popularity

Shortly after concluding their royal duties in March 2020, the couple announced their new charitable foundation, Archewell.

The organisation will focus on tackling a number of key issues that are important to the Sussexes, such as mental health, climate change, and gender equality.

Prince Harry and Meghan also announced in September of last year, that they had signed a multi-million-pound deal with streaming giants Netflix and Spotify.

In a deal estimated to be worth over £100million, the couple will produce a range of ‘informative’ and ‘uplifting’ content.

Whilst they are yet to release a podcast series, two projects are underway with Netflix, with Prince Harry producing a docu-series on the Invictus Games, and Meghan executive-producing a children’s animated series.
