William and Harry took part in DIY SOS in 2015 to help renovate empty homes in Manchester for veterans. And royal fans shared their sadness on social media about how the brothers’ relationship has changed after watching the repeat.
One Twitter user said: “@DIYSOS just watching one with William & Harry! Hope one day they get back to being mates!!”
Another wrote: “Ahhh miss seeing William and Harry together. #DIYSOS.”
A third commented: “@DIYSOS Great to see Harry and William there, shame Harry has left now in all honesty.”
Someone else added: “Just watched William and Harry on #DIYSOS and I feel so sad that we have lost Harry.
“I truly hope that Harry is happy with his new life.
“William and Catherine are the most fantastic royals for our future. Inspirational, supportive and completely grounded.”
A fifth said: “Watched the repeat of @DIYSOS last night with Harry and William on.
“What a difference! He was actually quite normal and smiling. Such a shame.”
Harry fuelled rumours of a rift with William when he spoke out in an emotional documentary last October.
He admitted they were “on different paths at the moment”.

And he said they have “good days” and “bad days” in their relationship.
Harry has since quit the monarchy to start a new life in the US with Meghan Markle and their son Archie.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced plans to step back as senior royals in a bombshell statement in January.
The couple had hoped for a dual role supporting the Queen and earning their own money but the idea was deemed unworkable.
They officially ended royal duties on March 31 and are now living in Los Angeles, where Meghan was born and raised.
In the UK, William and Kate are leading the Royal Family’s response to the coronavirus crisis.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have continued to carry out royal engagements remotely, including by video call.
