On Thursday, a new website was launched as the title of the high-anticipated memoir was announced to the public. Upon announcing some new details, it was revealed that Prince Harry will donate a portion of the proceeds to charity.

Speaking on GB News, royal reporter Cameron Walker revealed the book is going to cost “£28 for the hardcover [copy]”.

Although the Prince is “donating some of the proceeds to charity”.

Mr Walker added: “He’s already donated one and half million dollars to Sentebale”, which is a charity that helps children and adolescents in Lesotho and Botswana who are affected by HIV.

Harry co-founded the charity in 2006.

Mr Walker revealed that Harry will be keeping “some of the proceeds”, adding that the Duke needs “to have an income from somewhere” due to no longer being a working royal.

After being asked about the figure that Harry will “be paid for it”, the royal expert said: “We know it’s certainty millions of pounds” due to the breakdown on the latest information.

However, he added that we “don’t have an exact figure” of how much the 38-year-old has been paid, but we do know it is “millions”.

The royal expert also stated that due to the high volume of interest in the memoir suggests that it could be an “instant bestseller”.

Mr Cameron also stated that Harry, himself, will be “narrating” the audiobook version.

In earlier promotion for the yet-to-be-released memoir, Harry promised a “wholly truthful” account of his life.

The latest website reveals that Spare will be “raw” and “unflinching honesty”.

It states the memoir will be “full of insight, revelation, self-examination, and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief”.
